Anodising or the electrolytic oxidation of aluminium is a proven corrosion protection process for aluminium components.

Unlike electro-plating where a metal is electronically separated on a substrate, with anodizing, the base material itself is converted into an oxide layer.

The advantages

  • High level of corrosion protection, also suitable for a maritime climate (e.g. swimming pools and coastal sites)
  • Decorative appearance
  • Mechanical resilience
