Everybody knows that zinc is not only filling of hot dip galvanizing kettles,
but also use in casting and in medicines. Zinc also looks nice and is very
versatile – that’s what ZinkPower Austrindo and ZinkPower Batam Indo
demonstrated at Infrastructure Asia in Jakarta.
At Infrastructure
Asia exhibition in Jakarta, held on behalf of the Indonesian government and the
UNO, our Indonesian hot dip galvanizing plants were represented by an
extraordinary stand.
The Indonesian officials stressed in their opening
speeches, that the improvement of infrastructure in Indonesia is a priority to
ensure that Indonesia remains attractive to foreign investors. Several members
of the Indonesian government visited our stand, as well as senior government
officials of neighbouring countries, with their delegations, and many companies
that are interested in working together.
ZinkPower Austrindo was
opened 1999, is located close to Jakarta and has a kettle with 10 m length, 1.5
m wide and 3 m deep. ZinkPower Batam Indo (kettle dimensions 13 x 1.8 x 3 m) is
located on the island of Batam and was opened 2 years ago. Contact person for
