Where visions become reality
“Management that speaks the language of its customers, a recovering economy, constantly highest quality, in time deliveries and continuous communication with our customers” those are the secrets of success of ZINKPOWER in the Middle East for Wolfgang Motz.
In Dubai and Qatar, modern fairy tales are coming true. Development of infrastructure is booming. At Dubai International Airport, the new Terminal Concourse A has been in operation since early this year. The huge complex with a length of 645 m was exclusively built for the Emirates Airlines’ fleet of A380s, which is the largest in the world. In future some 15 million additional passengers will be handled here per year, including their luggage. Kilometre-long luggage conveyor systems with hot-dip galvanised sub-structures run in the depths of the terminal.
Furthermore, Terminal 2 was upgraded in order to cope with the increasing volume of low cost carrier flights.
The new Doha International Airport was built in Qatar on an artificially reclaimed area of 8.9 square kilometres, visionary with two extra long A380-compatible runways. In addition to this, the airport can be reached via the sea. A 1.2-kilometre-long berth was specifically created for taxi boats and private yachts.
The new airport buildings are designed on the basis of maritime themes. In this concept, the huge logistics centres, e.g. for the duty-free merchandise were integrated and covered in wave shapes with hot-dip galvanised steel elements.
ZINKPOWER Middle East operates one of the largest hot-dip galvanising kettles with a length of 16 m, a width of 1.8 m and a depth of 3 m. From Sharjah the team provides services to its customers in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman and beyond.
The success of ZINKPOWER Middle East confirms the motto of the ZINKPOWER® Group: family-run, close to customers and at home worldwide.
