An additional paint coating (Duplex) on hot dip galvanized steel presents almost endless possibilities for visual effects in architecture and a maximum of corrosion protection. Duplex may either be applied by wet- on wet coating or by powder coating.

If suitable colors are chosen one can achieve a signal effect, which is necessary for some special purpose objects.

The zinc layer protects against rusting under paintwork. The paint coating saves the zinc layer against wear-off. If both methods are optimally adjusted corrosion protection will be increased 1.2 to 2.5 times compared with standard methods.

A significant reduction of future maintenance- and service cost is the prime economic advantage.
Special coatings like fireproofing coat are available.

ZINCOLOR®, a special color for coating hot dip galvanized and zinc sprayed surfaces, has been well tried and tested for 20 years.
It brushes and rolls easily and is well suited for standard spraying processes.
The colors available are: White, graphite-black, anthracite, mossy-green, mossy-green metallic, brown, flamming red and gentian blue. Available on request in all RAL colours.
